M4E preps Mia and Me-style kids series
Content company m4e is teaming with kids author Thomas Brezina to make a new boy-skewed series that will have the same animation-live-action style as its hit series Mia and Me.
Germany-based m4e has joined forces with Austrian author Brezina who will develop a new, as yet unnamed, adventure series for boys in the 6-to-12 demo.
Like Mia and Me, which m4e makes with Italy’s Rainbow, the upcoming series will be a mix of CGI and live-action. Brezina‘s Tower 10 company will be coproducing the series with m4e and production is slated to be complete by early 2019.
No broadcast partner has been announced.
Brezina is best known for The Knickerbocker‐Gang book series but the new project is based on an original concept.
