Turkey’s D-Smart strikes Fox deal
Turkey’s D-Smart has inked a movie output deal with Twentieth Century Fox, taking the US studio’s films for its pay TV platform.
The deal between Fox and Dogan-owned D-Smart has already kicked in and gives the pay TV operator exclusive rights to all Fox movies, as well as numerous catalogue titles.
Upcoming Fox titles on D-Smart include Kingsman: The Secret Service and Home. Library titles include Avatar (pictured) and older titles such as The Sound of Music and The King and I.
D-Smart has seven linear movie channels and will also make the Fox films available on its OTT and digital service Blu TV.
