Amazon celebrates Globes win with free Mozart
Amazon is offering a free viewing window of its drama series Mozart in the Jungle this weekend.
The free window will run from January 15 to January 17 and allow non Amazon Prime subs to watch the streaming service’s original drama.
Amazon said the marketing push was a response to the series winning two Golden Globes last week: for the best musical or comedy series and best actor in a musical or comedy series (Gael García Bernal).
The free view window will run across the Amazon service in the UK and US and cover all episodes from both series.
Mozart in the Jungle follows the New York classical music scene. It is produced by Amazon Studios, which has yet to announce if there will be a third season.
Roy Price, Vice President of Amazon Studios. “We are incredibly proud of Gael, Jason, Roman, Paul and everyone involved in the making of Mozart in the Jungle – it’s gratifying and exciting to see the success of this series.”
