Burnett behind Fox dating series
US broadcaster Fox has ordered a ten-part dating reality series from new MGM Television president Mark Burnett.
The untitled series will be shot in the Caribbean, and see make and female who are matched on ‘instant chemistry’.
This comes after producer Burnett became president of MGM TV last month after US studio MGM bought out United Artists Media Group, which had housed Burnett’s production assets. Roma Khanna was ousted in the move.
Burnett co-created the new Fox show with MGM’s Ben Newmark, Dan Newmark and Larry Barron, and Grandma’s House Entertainment.
MGM TV will hold international distribution rights.
