Channel 4 orders Keshet comedy

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has ordered a local version of Israeli comedy drama Loaded.

The Keshet International format follows four friends who become overnight millionaires after selling their gaming business.

The UK version will be produced by Keshet UK and Hillbilly Television and run to 8x45mins. Jon Brown (Fresh Meat) is writing the show.

Piers Wenger, head of drama at Channel 4, said: “Exploring what it means to be rich beyond your wildest dreams at a time of life when your friends are almost certainly poor, Loaded is a truthful but comic portrait of a problem most of us can only dream of.”
