CNBC to run on Sustainable Energy
News channel CNBC has lined up a new original factual series Sustainable Energy.
The show, which will run monthly on the channel, will look at how science and tech are being used to change the way we use energy and to drive efficiency for consumers and the planet.
The series will look at various sustainable energy issues, with the debut episode focused on transport.
Creative Content and TIMA Film are making the show, with the first instalment going out on January 20 in a 10pm (GMT) slot.
It will also be in the CNBC schedule in Asia, starting on January 23, in a 6.30pm slot.
“Sustainable Energy will look at how innovation can help us to power our lives more efficiently, and will speak with the key people shaping the energy landscape, examining sectors such as transport, agriculture and construction,” said John Casey, senior VP of news and programming for CNBC International.
He added: “With sustainable energy top of the global agenda, the series will explore an extremely relevant issue.”
