Lifetime hires new unscripted VP
US cable channel Lifetime has hired a new VP, non-fiction programming.
Mioshi Hill joins the A+E Networks-owned channel from indie Hudsun Media, where she was senior VP, development and creative affairs.
She has executive produced unscripted US cable shows such as I’m Having Their Baby, The Doc Club and Pregnant in Heels, and also delivered video content to Condé Nast Entertainment’s online channels bouquet.
At Lifetime, she will be based in LA, and develop and oversee production of non-fiction projects, reporting to senior VP, non-fiction programming Eli Lehrer.
Hill worked at High Noon Entertainment between 2006 and 2010, having joined as manager of development. She rose to director before joining Hudsun, initially as VP.
“Mioshi is a highly creative and dynamic executive who knows how to spot out non-scripted ideas that resonate among viewers,” said Lehrer. “I’m looking forward to having her on board and working with our team.”
