Federation opens The Bureau ahead of MIP
Federation Entertainment has sold Canal+ spy drama The Bureau to a raft of broadcasters before taking the series to Cannes next week.
Belgium’s VRT, Sweden’s SVT and Portugal’s RTP have all picked up the first and second season of the drama series.
Kiwi channel Rialto has also bought both seasons on the show. In Germany, RTL Crime has acquired season two.
“Since Federation’s inception, our strategy has been to focus on quality, high-end productions in order to deliver a range of premium TV series,” said Federation Entertainment co-founder and managing director Lionel Uzan.
“As such, we are proud to offer broadcasters The Bureau, which fulfils this criteria and look forward to closing even more sales over the coming months.”
The series is a Canal+ Original and is produced by TOP – The Oligarchs Productions. It follows an international espionage unit training special agents and dispatching them all around the world.
