Universal Channel takes Second Chance

Universal Channel in the UK has acquired rights to new Howard Gordon series Second Chance.

The deal with 20^th Century Fox Television Distribution gives the NBCUniversal International Networks-owned pay TV network local rights to the eleven-part series.

Second Chance comes from Rand Ravich (Life) and Gordon (Homeland, 24) and stars Rob Kazinsky as a man resurrected to save the life of one of two tech geniuses and put right the wrongs of his past.

It was for Fox in the US, with 20^th Century Fox Television, Kara Productions and Teakwood Lane Productions attached as coproducers.

Universal will debut it in the UK on Thursday, May 12 in a 9pm slot.
