Universal Channel takes Second Chance
Universal Channel in the UK has acquired rights to new Howard Gordon series Second Chance.
The deal with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution gives the NBCUniversal International Networks-owned pay TV network local rights to the eleven-part series.
Second Chance comes from Rand Ravich (Life) and Gordon (Homeland, 24) and stars Rob Kazinsky as a man resurrected to save the life of one of two tech geniuses and put right the wrongs of his past.
It was for Fox in the US, with 20th Century Fox Television, Kara Productions and Teakwood Lane Productions attached as coproducers.
Universal will debut it in the UK on Thursday, May 12 in a 9pm slot.
