CNBC invests in Marketing.Media.Money
International news channel operator CNBC has greenlit Marketing.Media.Money, a new factual series about the global advertising industry.
The show, which will be produced in-house by the NBCUniversal-owned news net, will go out in 30-minute installments every month.
It will delve into the advertising industry as seen through the eyes of the marketers driving its evolution.
CNBC anchor Julia Chatterley will front the show alongside media entrepreneur and chairman of C Squared, Charlie Crowe.
The first episode of Marketing.Media.Money will feature Unilever CMO Keith Weed and will go out in the UK and across Europe on May 5, and in Asia on May 6.
CNBC executive producer Martin Conroy said: “Advertising has always been an uncertain business, but the game is now changing at incredible pace: the platforms are expanding; the feedback is instant and the consumer has taken control. This series will guide the CNBC investor audience through a complicated but crucial dimension of business.”
