AMC, Nat Geo explore Baby Animals in the Wild
AMC Networks International in Spain and National Geographic in Latin America and Asia have acquired wildlife programming from distributor DRG.
Baby Animals in the Wild has gone to AMC, Nat Geo, LIC in China and Next Step Television in Thailand.
Next Step and AMC have also acquired rights to Baby Animals in Our World.
Both Animals series are 10x60mins, with one looking at new-borns first 24 hours and early life, while Our World looking at a broad range of baby animals in zoos, homes, farms and stations.
DRG is part of Nice Entertainment Group, which in turn is part of European broadcaster Modern Times Group.
Our entire catalogue of wildlife programming is some of the most diverse and distinctive of any broadcaster and we are continuing to invest in our growing slate of top quality content,” said DRG senior sales executive Adam Barth.
