TV4 hires new ENT boss
TV4 has brought in Sanny Ekstrand to run its digital entertainment division ENT.
Taking over from Maria Wiss, who left TV4 to run a market research firm, Ekstrand takes the role after a stint as an advisor at Woo, a digital advertising platform run by TV4-owner Bonnier.
He has previously worked for TV4, as head of sales at its digital media unit.
ENT launched last year with a remit to develop talent and create formats and content in the digital space. It produces virtual reality series Week 360 and music festival series Road to Bråvalla.
“It will be incredibly fun to get into the growing ENT team and give talent and partners new opportunities and formats to work with,” Ekstrand said.
“In Sanny TV4 gets ENT a leader with a deep understanding of digital business models and the new media landscape in which the moving image in various forms becomes an even bigger part of both the user and advertiser’s experience,” said Carola Lundell, director of emerging business at TV4.
