DRG cuts first-look with comedy indie
UK-based distributor DRG has inked a development deal with comedy indie 2LE Media.
DRG, which is owned by Modern Times Group, has been selling 2LE’s E4 series The Work Experience, and will now shop its new content internationally.
2Le was founded by Michael Livingstone (Star Stories) and Tom Thostrup (Facejacker).
“The content we produce has global appeal, and we are looking forward to working with DRG as we develop new ideas and take our content to audiences all over the world,” said Livingstone.
Noel Hedges, executive VP of content at DRG, said: “Entertainment and comedy are very popular genres both in the UK and internationally, and we are pleased to represent 2LE Media in global markets and to bring their content to new territories around the world.”
This is the third first-look deal for DRG in recent months, following agreements with Screen Glue and Outline Productions.
