Loud builds dev team with Freyer hire
New York-based Loud TV has hired veteran producer Glen Freyer as senior VP, development.
He joins from Bobby Flay’s Rock Shrimp Productions, where he was executive VP, development.
At Loud, which is part of ITV America-owned Leftfield Entertainment, Freyer will oversee all development. The prodco is currently working on series and specals for more than ten broadcast and cable networks in the US.
He will report to Loud TV president Nick Rigg, who said: “Having achieved great success as a development executive, as well as a producer, writer and director, Glen brings to Loud decades of media experience and creative expertise.”
At Rock Shrimp, Freyer sold projects in the food and lifestyle spaces, and before that was SVP, development at Atlas Media Corp, where he worked on more than 250 episodes for twelve different networks, including Travel Channel’s Hotel Impossible.
He also worked at Court TV and was an executive producer for 20th Television Fox Lab.
Rigg launched Loud with Leftfield in May 2013.
