Endemol Shine hires three for business affairs
The US division of Endemol Shine Group has hired three new execs, with two coming to the company from Viacom and another from Mattel.
Michael Gifford and Marjorie Williams (pictured) join from Viacom and will be senior VP, business and legal, and vice president, business and legal affairs respectively. Ed Prince, most recently at Mattel, also takes the VP, business and legal affairs title.
All three are now based in the Endemol Shine LA office, reporting to John Farrell, general counsel.
Farrell’s team will work across scripted, unscripted and consumer products, but Gifford will work primarily with scripted division Endemol Shine Studios. Prior to Viacom he was at ABC Studios.
Williams will oversee development matters for Endemol Shine’s unscripted programming team and work with digital division Endemol Shine Beyond.
Prince, meanwhile, will work with the Endemol Shine North America’s digital, brand and audience development group.
“With our across-the-board growth over the last year, we’ve ramped up our in-house legal and business affairs team and attracted three very accomplished attorneys,” says Farrell. “Michael, Ed and Marjorie all bring with them a wealth of entertainment-related experience and each has expertise in specialised fields that will surely benefit many of our divisions here internally.”
