News brief: French, Swiss nets buy Maximus factual

French network RMC Découverte and Switzerland’s SFR have prebought factual series from German indie Maximus Films.

The deals, which Berlin-based Quintus Media brokered, see RMC investing in 6x60mins pop science series Evil Knows!, and SFR acquiring Giant Constructions – the World’s Most Spectacular Bridges.

Evil Knows! follows Bloodhound Gang bassist Evil Jared Hasselhoff as he searches for myths and phenomena from daily life, while Giant Constructions is a 5x60mins series that presents breathtaking bridge structures.
