Jasper James (left) said: “Since our time at Impossible Pictures [Will] has continued to develop and produce exceptional non-scripted content, he’s won or been nominated for numerous awards, including Emmys and BAFTAs, and he’s become a real expert on international coproductions – all of which will be very valuable in helping Screen Glue realise its ambitions.”
Will Aslett added: “Screen Glue is all about scale – big international science and history projects, ambitious drama docs and entertaining factual programming with global reach – and I find that kind of brief very exciting.
“I will be able to combine my experience and interests with Jasper’s vision for a different way of doing things and we are confident of producing factual content that will both excite broadcasters and engage viewers.”
Screen Glue is currently working on A Day in the Life of Planet Earth with ZDF Enterprises, which it will be pitching at the Sunny Side of the Doc event in La Rochelle.
