Canuck prodco to coproduce Channel 4 series

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a 7x60mins factual series from a pair of Argonon Group prodcos – Windfall Films and Remedy Canada.

My Floating Home (WT) will follow couples and families who have decided to create their own waterborne homes in the UK and around the world.

“With the ever increasing popularity of these exceptional homes, this series is an interesting, entertaining and insightful look at the process, challenges and results of making the dream a reality, capturing all of the drama along the way,” said Channel 4’s head of daytime, David Sayer.

Coproducer Remedy Canada is the Vancouver-based arm of UK producer Remedy, which merged with Leopard Films in 2011 to form Argonon. Windfall late joined the group through a 2014 acquisition.

Windfall’s Carlo Massarella and Remedy Canada’s Toby Dormer are executive producers on My Floating Home, with Andrew Barron producing.
