CEE nets bag All3 factual
All3Media International has closed its first deals since announcing former chief Louise Pedersen was returning to the company.
The sales arm of UK production group All3Media has shopped 180 hours to broadcasters in central and eastern Europe, including a package deal with Russian pay TV network First HDTV.
This agreement sees First’ Eureka and Outdoor TV channels taking on series such as Speed with Guy Martin (seasons one and two), Gadget Man, Around the World in 80 Gardens, Monty Don’s French Gardens, Monty Don’s Italian Gardens, Big Dreams Small Spaces and Kew on a Plate.
Another Russian channel, Kultura, has bought Lion Television factual shows The Story of Egypt, China: Treaures of the Jade Empire and Pompeii: Life Before Death.
Polish free TV channel Fokus TV has acquired Undercover Boss USA (seasons six and seven), while TVN has taken Will My Crash Diet Kill Me?, Travel Guides, Rise of the Superstar Vloggers and Britain’s Weirdest Council Houses for its TVN Stye and TTV networks.
In Croatia, The Great Interior Design Challenge will go out through pubcaster HRT, along with Love Your Garden (seasons 2-5) and season two of Travel Man: 48 Hours In…Estonian Public Broadcasting bought Love Your Garden (season one) and the Secret History of the British Garden.
The deals are the first for All3 International after it emerged Pedersen would return to run the company as CEO. She had left to run the UK arm of Colin Callender’s Playground Entertainment in 2014, but is returning following the departure of Steve Macallister.
