CraveTV takes Rolling Stones to SVOD

Canadian SVOD service CraveTV has snagged the rights to The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé: A Trip Across Latin America.

CraveTV gets exclusive rights to the film, which follows the legendary rock band 2016 tour through 10 Latin American cities including their historic gig in the Cuban capital, Havana.

The SVOD service also acquired a special about the Cuban gig The Rolling Stones Havana Moon. Both Stones films were made by Paul Dugdale.

Eagle Rock distributes the Stones films and struck the CraveTV deal at the Toronto International Film Festival last week. The Rolling Stones Olé Olé Olé: A Trip Across Latin America had its world premiere at TIFF.

CraveTV, which is owned by Canadian telco and TV firm Bell, will launch the music docs in early 2017 after their theatrical bow. They will then play on Bell’s pay TV channel The Movie Network.
