Callender’s Playground ups two
Colin Callender’s drama prodco Playground has upped Scott Huff (left) and Elsye Dolbec (below right), and said it wants to expand its slate of US scripted projects.
Huff becomes senior VP, development and production, overseeing Playground’s drama slate, and Dolbec becomes director of development, working with Huff on TV and theatre projects.
Huff exec produces Starz series The White Princess and BBC drama The Missing. He was also a producer on acclaimed Hilary Mantel adaptation Wolf Hall for BBC One.
Dolbec’s credits include The White Princess and BBC/Starz show The Dresser.
Both execs are based in New York. Playground has former Channel 4 commissioner Sophie Gardiner in its London office. Louise Pedersen was running the UK operation but left to return to All3Media International earlier this year.
A Playground spokesman told TBI no decision has yet been taken about replacing Pedersen.
