TV4 hires ex-Zodiak Americas creative exec
Swedish free and pay TV broadcaster TV4 Group has made two key content appointments, bringing in former Zodiak Americas and Mastiff creative chief Cem Yeter.
The broadcast group hired Yeter (pictured) in the new role of creative director.
He was previously joint chief creative officer of production outfit Zodiak Americas’ Los Angeles unit, which is now part of Banijay Group, and has also served as CEO of local production outfit Mastiff.
TV4 has also hired its own former programme director Mary Mowbray as head of development. Mowbray was freelancing for a number of other Swedish TV broadcasters before being re-hired by her former employer.
Existing development chief Jakob Hansson is stepping back but will continue to work in a programme development role, while head of production Malin Knave will work as a senior executive producer.
Yeter helped develop and produce programmes that have been aired by TV4 including Så Mycket Bättre, Let’s Dance, Bytt är Bytt and Det Största Äventyret.
TV4 said that the appointments highlighted its existing focus on format development and its commitment to spend more resources of the development of local Swedish content.
Both Mowbray and Yeter will take up their new posts in January.
