Fremantle adds ex-Hoho sales chief
FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment has hired former Hoho Rights boss Danielle Davies on an interim basis to cover Joss Duffield’s maternity leave.
Davies has been named interim VP of sales at UK-based FremantleMedia’s children and family content arm.
She was head of sales at Hoho Rights, the sales and L&M division of UK-based preschool company Hoho Entertainment, but left in 2014. She has also worked at Viacom, DCD Rights and RDF and Action Time.
Duffield has been with FremantleMedia’s sales division since January 2013, joining from Entertainment One as TBI revealed at the time, and is currently VP, sales and distribution. Her previous posts include head of international sales at eOne, director of sales at Turner, and a spell at A+E Networks.
Davies takes on her responsibilities in the interim, working to sell FMKFE shows such as Danger Mouse, Tree Fu Tom, Bitz and Bob, Tasty Tales of the Food Truckers and Kate and Mim-Mim into Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the US and Canada.
She joined FremantleMedia on January 9.
