Eccho poaches Imagina sales boss

Eccho Rights has hired Laura Miñarro as director of coproduction and scripted.

Miñarro joins from Spain’s Mediapro, where she was general manager of the Imagina International sales operation.

She also served as VP, international copro at Mediapro’s Globomedia.

At Eccho she will be based in Madrid and work alongside Lat Am and Iberia chief Barbora Susterova. She will focus on Spanish-language copros.

“Laura’s talents and huge experience are well known in the industry and we are honoured she has chosen to take her next steps with us,” said Fredrik af Malmborg, managing director at Eccho Rights.

“As well as growing international sales of some amazing series, Eccho Rights is now building a formidable group of people with huge experience on the coproduction side as well, and the future for bringing together international producers looks very bright,” added Miñarro.
