Endemol Shine’s Gold shines in Russia

Russian broadcaster Rossiya 1 has bought a pair of Endemol Shine formats, Gold of a Nation and Everybody Dance!

WeiT Media, Endemol Shine Group’s Moscow based prodco struck the deals and will make local versions of the shows for the Russian free TV channel.

Gold of Nation pitches young science geniuses against one another in rounds of challenges that test their skills.

Everybody Dance! is a dancing competition that has groups from different regions taking on each other in modern and classic rounds.

Both formats will run to eight parts in Russia.

The deals come soon after Endemol Shine’s You are a Super! (pictured) singing format for children launched on NTV. It was the most-watched show on Russian TV last weekend.

WeiT created the new trio of shows and has moved into originating formats, having previously been known for remaking Endemol Shine formats locally.
