Imagina appoints sales chief

The distribution arm of Spain’s Mediapro has named Beatriz Setuain its new sales director.

She becomes director of Imagina International Sales, having been upped from sales manager.

In her new role she will report to International content director, Laura Fernández Espeso.

Before joining Imagina, Setuain was at Spain-based Boomerang TV, which is now owned by French conglomerate Lagardere.

Her hire comes as Imagina reorganises its sales department. Esther Agraso, another former Boomerang exec, has been promoted to head of sales under the new structure.

Mediapro said the changes were part of its wider efforts to bulk up its international business and that more hires will be made as that strategy takes shape.
