Disney EMEA adopts Sunny Bunnies
The Walt Disney Company EMEA has acquired season two rights to non-verbal animation series Sunny Bunnies.
The deal with London-based distributor Media I.M. hands Disney Junior rights to the Digital Light Studios-produced 26×3.5mins series in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and French-speaking Europe, Spain, Italy and Italian-speaking Europe, the Nordic, Baltic and Benelux territories, Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African territories, Ireland and Andorra
Disney has already acquired the show in the US, Southeast Asia, Russia and the CIS territories, Australasia and Japan, and parts of central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Media I.M. co-founder Irina Nazarenko said the next step for the show, which follows five beaming balls that can appear anywhere there is a source of light, was to launch a range of tie-in toys and books.
