VR format to become reality at MIPTV
Virtual reality format Tilt will launch at MIPTV.
The show claims to be the first to use VR and mixed reality video in a TV series.
Kabo International has snagged the international rights and will be shopping it in Cannes.
It will also be one of the shows talked about in MIPTV’s VR strand at the market.
The original Tilt series goes out on TV6 in Finland as a gameshow-meets-talk show format were millennial celebrities challenge each other in VR games.
It has been on air since 1997 and the VR elements were added when the show was overhauled last year.
Tilt is produced by Reflect, the interactive indie created by Intervisio’s Antti Seppänen and former Moskito boss Juha Ponteva, and which runs alongside their existing production interests.
France-based indie distributor Kabo snagged Tilt it as part of a wider deal with the interactive Finnish prodco.
