Banijay sticks to the script at MIPTV

Banijay Rights is hitting the Palais des Festivals with a slate of new scripted programmes.

Toplining the shows are TV4’s Rebecka Martinsson, CBC’s Baroness von Sketch Show and TVNZ’s Dear Murderer.

Rebecka Martinsson is an 8x45mins / 4x90mins drama from Yellowbird for Sweden’s TV4.

It is based on novels from Asa Larsson and is part is a remote and spectacular part of Sweden.

Baroness von Sketch Show is from Frantic Films and is for Canadian pubcaster the CBC. The 6x60mins show is a satire of daily life and has an all-female cast.

Dear Murderer is a 5x60mins Screentime production for New Zealand’s TVNZ and follows the true-life story of a notorious barrister.
