Redseven boss to stay until 2020

Jobst Benthues has renewed his contract at Redseven and will stay at the German prodco until 2020.

Redseven makes series including Germany’s next Topmodel – by Heidi Klum for ProSieben and Married at First Sight and the local version of The Biggest Loser for Sat.1.

Benthues founded Redseven nine years ago having had various positions within ProSiebenSat.1, its ultimate parent company, including head of entertainment and deputy MD.

“I am delighted to remain a long-term part of the Red Arrow family and to further drive Redseven’s successful future,” Benthues said. “In addition to our strong non-scripted portfolio, we want to increasingly produce serialised content and expand our corporate TV business.”
