Revamped VH1 unveils new slate
VH1 has unveiled its first slate since Bob Bakish took over parent company Viacom, ushering in management changes at the US cable net.
Shed has one of the five new series and another Warner Bros. prodco, Renegade, another.
Shed’s Baller Wives (WT) will follow pro athletes and their wives in Miami. The prodco already makes Basketball Wives for VH1 and that show was renewed for a sixth season.
Renegade is making Scared Famous, a horror reality show in which celebs move into a spooky mansion.
From Sony there is weekday afternoon series Daytime Diva in which a panel of women discuss the issues of the day.
Endemol Shine North America prodco 51 Minds is making a Ricky Martin show, the title of which is yet to be finalised. It will be a reality show following the music superstar.
Rounding out the new selection is 90s House from Superdelicious. It takes will feature 90s celebs and music.
