Princess Diana doc set for HBO & ITV
HBO Documentary Films and UK broadcaster ITV will both broadcast a feature doc about the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
UK indie Oxford Film & Television is behind the doc, which comes 20 years after the British royal’s death.
The currently untitled programme will feature interviews with Diana’s sons, The Duke of Cambridge William and Prince Harry, who will talk in depth about her influence on their lives.
Topics covered will include homelessness, landmines, child bereavement, HIV and AIDS.
Other key figures from Diana’s life will contribute to reveal insights into the Diana, who was divorced from Prince Charles a year before her untimely death in 1997.
“This film will show Princess Diana in a way she has never been seen before, through the eyes of the two people who knew her best,” said Nick Kent, executive producer at Oxford Film & TV.
Ashley Gething is producer and director.
