Trio keeps Snowman standing
The management team at Married at First Sight prodco Snowman Productions has extended their contracts.
Michael von Würden, Rasmus Steentoft and Lars Fønss have each agreed “multi-year” contract renewals.
Copenhagen-based Snowman has been part of Germany’s Red Arrow Entertainment Group since 2011, focusing on social experiment and entertainment formats.
Married at First Sight, in which couples are wed as soon as they meet, has shopped to more then 25 territories including the UK and US, while Kiss Bang Love, a format in a similar vein, has gone to eleven territories.
Red Arrow chairman and CEO Jan Frouman said the firm’s “shows always hit the zeitgeist, and combine both entertainment value and emotional heart – enabling them to travel so well internationally”.
“We have had a great ride together with Red Arrow over the last five years and now we wish to take it to the next level with the help of Jan, his team and the rest of the group,” said von Würden.
“Having the creative freedom and the encouragement to be as independent as possible are two of the key strengths of the Red Arrow Entertainment Group and we love to go to work every day knowing and living this.”
Last year, Jørgen Steinhelm became managing director of Snowman Productions Norway after the departure of Peter Blank.
Red Arrow currently comprises 19 production companies in Europe and the US.
