TBI hires new deputy editor
Television Business International (TBI) has hired Kaltrina Bylykbashi as its new deputy editor.
Bylykbashi will contribute to all aspects of the TBI editorial business, reporting to editor Jesse Whittock.
She will work on the TBIVision.com website, and the TBI print offering, which includes the MIPCOM and MIPTV bumper specials, TBI Kids, TBI Factual, TBI Formats and premium drama title TBI Scripted.
She’ll also help build digital content such as the TBI Podcast and video products.
She joins from Gorkana, where she worked on the PR industry site’s editorial team as a news manager.
She was also a reporter for Marketing Week, and worked at Citywire and Press Assocation.
“Kaltrina is an emerging talent in trade journalism, who will help us consolidate our position as a vital voice for the international television industry,” said Whittock.
“We will continue to focus on breaking news stories, in-depth longreads and detailed analysis, and the growing popularity of the TBI Podcast and our other digital products.”
Bylykbashi steps into the role Whittock vacated when he took on the editor post last month.
