Propagate teams with Wachter to launch prodco
Propagate Content is teaming with executive producer and showrunner Charles Wachter to launch a new production company, Hard Twenty.
Based in Los Angeles and Toronto, Hard Twenty is the first production company to launch under the Propagate umbrella.
Propagate and Hard Twenty have an exclusive coproduction agreement with Propagate retaining all international distribution rights for content developed by the producer. Wachter (pictured) will serve as founder and president of Hard Twenty.

Wachter has produced hit TV series such as Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, American Gladiators, King of the Nerds and Fashion Star, among others. He also served as executive producer and showrunner on Apple’s first series, Planet of the Apps, coproduced by Propagate and Apple.
Propagate co-CEO Ben Silverman launched Electus, where John Pollak was promoted to the role of president of worldwide television and international this week.
