MIPCOM slates – Rai Com & Mediapro

Inspector ColiandroThe latest titles from Italian distributor Rai Com includes new episodes of the evergreen Detective Montalbano and new Manetti Bros. series Inspector Coliandro (pictured).

There will also be second seasons of crime drama Close Murders and The Ladies’ Paradise, the latter of which is set during the 1950s Italian economic miracle that followed World War II.

On the arts and culture front is documentary Italy – An Open-Air Treasure, in which paleontologist and presenter Alberto Angela travels to UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Love and Bullets and Holding Hands are new movies straight from the Venice Film Festival, with the latter coming from Inspector Coliandro’s Manetti Bros.


Imagina International Sales

Spain’s Imagina International Sales is bringing an eclectic mix of new formats to MIPCOM this year.

Rush Hour Love, from stablemate Mediapro Group, Maagalot Productions and Phileas Productions, is a show in which traffic jams are used a potential backdrop for romance.

Medium in a Box comes from Big Bang Media is a reality format that tests the abilities of mediums. They make a series of predictions about anonymous participants, which are tested 200 days later for accuracy.

Son of Songs, meanwhile, sees legendary songs reimagined in new musical styles. It comes from Mediapro, Gazul Productions and Casa Limón.

One Year Long Dinner sees celebrity chefs Quique Dacosta having four dinners across a year with a different guest in each episode. Dacosta coproduces with Mediapro and Phileas.
