CBC picks up TVF’s Hardline Buddhists

TVF International has licensed Channel NewsAsia’s Myanmar’s Hardline Buddhists
to Canadian pubcaster CBC at MIPCOM (pictured).

In the special, BBC Panorama reporter Mobeen Azhar travels to Myanmar to investigate and question links between religion and violence.

Myanmar’s Hardline Buddhists is one part of Channel NewsAsia’s series Power and Piety, all of which is being distributed by TVF International and was released at this year’s MIPCOM as part of its slate of 300 brand new hours.

The deal was brokered by TVF International division head, Harriet Armston-Clarke.
