Warner Bros. hires Nick exec for toon series
Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) has hired Nickelodeon’s Audrey Diehl as VP of series.
The new post will see the development exec overseeing programming development and select current series.
Diehl (pictured) has been with Viacom-owned Nick for 14 years, the past four as VP of animation development.
At Warner Bros., she’ll report to president of WBA and Warner Digital Series Sam Register, who said: “This is an extremely exciting time to be working at WBA, with more than a dozen current series in production or on the air, and more to come.”
Among those shows are Justice League Action, Teen Titans Go! and the upcoming DC Super Hero Girls and Unikitty! for Cartoon Netflix; Bunnicula and New Looney Tunes for Boomerang; Green Eggs and Ham for Netflix; and Young Justice Outsiders for the upcoming DC-branded digital service.
At Nick, Diehl, she developed series such as Sanjey & Craig, Harvey Beaks and Pig Goat Banana Cricket.
