Pilgrim names WME exec as business affairs head
Pilgrim Media Group has appointed WME exec David Harris to serve as senior vice president of business and legal affairs.
Harris, who will report to Pilgrim’s COO, Gretchen Stockdale, will head up the deal making for the prodco across all development, sales, talent, distribution and other corporate business.
The new business exec joins from William Morris Endeavour (WME) where he served as business affairs executive since 2008.
While at WME, Harris was instrumental in negotiating agreements for projects with WME clients including Snoop Dogg’s The Jokers Wild (TBS) and Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party (VH1, pictured), in addition to the mobile gaming app Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
He has negotiated deals for talent such as The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison, comedians Martin Short and Jeff Ross, and superstar athletes Cam Newton and Rob Gronkowski, among others.
Stockdale said: “David’s expertise in the key facets of our business, the complexity of the deals he has orchestrated and the caliber of talent he has worked with make him an ideal fit for Pilgrim.
“We know David will be integral to our team as we continue building our premium franchises and expanding our content into new arenas and platforms.”
