Ex-Flame, Films of Records execs join Sundog
Former Flame Television managing director Claire Featherstone and Films of Record executive producer Katie Buchanan are joining UK indie Sundog Pictures.
Featherstone will take up a COO post in April and Buchanan becomes creative director on March 19. She counts docs such as The Romanians are Coming and Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue on ger CV.
Sundog is the prodco behind shows such as Breaking the Taboo: the War on Drugs and Reggie Yates Extreme Russia.
“Sundog has experienced fantastic growth since we started the business in 2012 and the time is right for us to enhance our senior team,” said Sundog CEO Johnny Webb.
“The appointment of both Katie and Claire not only brings two industry leaders into Sundog, but will enable us to further expand both our domestic and international reach.”
Buchanan has worked in posts such as head of documentaries at Keo Films and executive producer at Lightbox and Minnow Films, while Featherstone steered Flame through its sale to Avalon Entertainment Group.
Recently, Featherstone has been working with Sundog in a consultancy capacity.
