Insight TV hires Liberty Global exec as legal affairs VP

Insight TV has appointed Liberty Global’s Angela Borrillo as vice president of business and legal affairs.

Borrillo will be responsible for overseeing and managing Insight TV’s business concerns and strategy and ensuring the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Prior to joining Insight, Borrillo spent more than ten years at Liberty Global in Amsterdam where she held the post of director of programming and was responsible for the negotiation and acquisition of linear channels, digital rights and SVOD content for the company’s cable and satellite platforms in Europe.

Borrillo has also worked as director of programming at Dish Network and Triax Telecommunications.
