eOne nabs DRG exec for acquisitions

Entertainment One (eOne) has named DRG’s Kate Cundall as vice president of acquisitions.

Cundall will be based in the company’s London office and report to Noel Hedges, executive vice president of acquisitions.

She will be a central part of the acquisitions department working across scripted and non-scripted programming.

Before joining eOne, Cundall was senior VP of acquisitions at DRG where she commissioned and acquired content for international distribution.

She built strategic relationships with UK-based and international content makers as well as third-party producers to source content for the company’s pipeline.

Cundall has also previously worked with Eyeworks International Distirbution, BSkyB Entertainment, Underground Films, Sprout Pictures and Channel Four.

“Kate’s considerable experience and knowledge of the business of international television and her strong creative judgement makes her a valuable addition to the eOne team as we grow further our third party relationships and distribution portfolio,” said Hedges.
