Jetpack secures rights to trio of UK kids edutainment series

Kids content distributor Jetpack Distribution has acquired the international rights for three UK live action shows: Bumpybox’s My Petsaurus and Sixth Sense’s Our Family and Time for School.

Commenting, Jetpack Distribution CEO Dominic Gardiner said: “The UK celebrates some of the greatest kids TV production and these shows are proven successes, drawing upon themes that affect many pre-schoolers, giving them tools to navigate early life and provide valuable entertainment and learning experiences.”

My Petsaurus is a blended live action and animation pre-school show that premiered on CBeebies. The show centres around Chloe, who is looking after her troublesome pet triceratops Topsy. It deals with the everyday tasks and problems encountered when raising your first pet. Jetpack has acquired the rights for two series (10 x 2-minutes).

Time for School is a 40 x 11 mins formatted live action series for 3-7 year olds produced by Sixth Sense. Also commissioned by CBeebies, it follows real children embarking on their first ever term at school. Our Family, also Sixth Sense/Cbeebies, celebrates family life. Jetpack has four series (80 x 11-minute) and 25 x 3-minute shorts, all following the lives of eight diverse children and their families. According to Jetpack, “Our Family ranks among the top ten shows on CBeebies and has taken top spot across all UK channels on numerous occasions.”
