NBC’s Paul Teledgy to speak at Edinburgh TV Fest

This year’s Worldview Address at the Edinburgh TV Festival will be given by the president of NBC Entertainment’s Alternative and Reality Group Paul Teledgy.

Telegdy’s major successes among NBC’s unscripted series include The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and American Ninja Warrior; specials programming, including the Golden Globe Awards, the Billboard Awards and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, as well as the US broadcast of the global philanthropic event Red Nose Day which to date has raised more than $100 million to impact the lives of children around the world.

According to the festival organisers, “Telegdy will bring his unique perspective on the television landscape to the keynote speech, discussing the current content arms race and its impact on creativity and storytelling on a global scale.”

Advisory Chair, Phil Edgar-Jones said: “It is a real coup to have Paul at this year’s TV Festival offering delegates an insight into his views on the current media landscape. The sheer scale and breadth of the programming he oversees is phenomenal, and following a hugely successful career, this session promises to be both inspiring and informative.”
