Netflix orders Paul Rudd comedy series
Netflix has ordered a comedy series starring Paul Rudd, titled Living With Yourself.
Rudd will play a dual role. He is a man struggling with his life who undergoes a novel treatment to become a better person, and finds he’s been replaced by a new and improved version – himself.
The Role Models star is currently starring in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, which he also co-wrote. So far, the film has grossed $430 million at the global box office and will open in China, Japan and other markets later this month.
Timothy Greenberg (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) is the creator, showrunner and exec producer of the eight-episode comedy.
Joining Greenberg as exec producers and series directors are Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine). Paul Rudd and Jeff Blitz will also exec produce.
Anthony Bregman and Jeff Stern will exec produce for Likely Story and Tony Hernandez for Jax Media.
