BT Sport signs up for football quiz show

BT Sport has commissioned Zig Zag Productions and Velocity Content for a football quiz show.

Fan TV: Call Yourself A Fan? (13 x 30 minutes) will find fans of top teams such as Arsenal and Manchester United going head to head in a three-round trivia show. The programme will be hosted by Lynsey Hipgrave and Max Rushden.

Zig Zag and fledgling indie Velocity hold global distribution rights for the programme, which will also be shopped as a format at next month’s Mipcom market.

Matt Graff, managing director of Zig Zag, said: “FanTV; Call Yourself a Fan?’ is a format that we think will work fantastically well for any territory that loves its football – and indeed any sport that attracts passionate super fans and intense rivalries.”

Zig Zag most recently produced five-part docuseries Football Godfathers for A+E Networks-owned History as part of its History of Football event.
