Twofour strikes European sales for What Would Your Kid Do?
Twofour Rights has sold ITV’s What Would Your Kid Do? and This Time Next Year into Belgium and Eastern Europe.
Medialaan is to make the Belgian version of Boomerang’s What Would Your Kid Do? for VTM, which will soon go into production and is to air in early 2019.
The show – which challenges parents to guess how their children will behave in classroom challenges and real-world activities – has also sold into Television Serbia, which has committed to a 16-episode order.
Meanwhile, This Time Next Year has sold into LNK Lithuania, which has handed Fresh Production House a 10 x 60-minute order.
VRT Belgium and Keshet Israel have also ordered a second series of the time-travel format.
Eniela Bella, vice-president of sales for EMEA and Latin America, said: “These new deals demonstrate This Time Next Year’s staying power as a brand. With several territories coming aboard for our latest format hit, What Would Your Kid Do? and strong interest across major territories, it is shaping up to have the same appeal.”
