Youngest Media hires Electric Ray’s Parry as creative chief
Entertainment studio Youngest Media has hired Shaun Parry as chief creative officer.
Parry is the former creative director of Sony-backed indie Electric Ray and will oversee Youngest Media’s creative output and strategy working closely with co-founders David Flynn and Lucas Church.
Shaun’s credits include BBC2’s Million Pound Menu, which has sold to Netflix, ITV2’s reality show Bromans, Channel 4’s Alone at Home and BBC1’s Doodlebugs, Electric Ray’s first ever scripted comedy commission.
Previous to Electric Ray Shaun was head of entertainment at Endemol Shine UK where he co-created BBC1’s award winning hit quiz show Pointless and ITV2’s Almost Impossible Gameshow.
Co-founder of Youngest Media David Flynn said: “Shaun’s a brilliant, versatile creative and executive producer. He’s excited by great ideas whatever the genre and has developed successful shows across factual entertainment, entertainment and comedy. I’m lucky to have worked with him in the past to create hits and I’m looking forward to what we can come up with together in the future.”
Parry added: “Youngest Media have a growing reputation for innovation. They’re uniquely set up to turn an idea into anything, from an App to a TV show, and take it to broadcasters and platforms anywhere in the world. This is an exciting opportunity for any creative and I can’t wait to get started.”
