Attenborough to present new BBC landmark series One Planet: Seven Worlds
BBC America has brought Sir David Attenborough on board to present One Planet: Seven Worlds (WT), a new seven-part nature docu-series from the BBC Studios Natural History Unit.
One Planet: Seven Worlds follows Emmy-winning series Planet Earth II, Blue Planet II and Dynasties, which is currently premiering in the US as an AMC Networks four-network simulcast.
Each one-hour episode will transport viewers to a single continent and tell the story of its spectacular wildlife and iconic landscapes.
The 7×60 series is for BBC One and made by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, co-produced with BBC America, Tencent Penguin Pictures, ZDF and France Télévisions.
The executive producer is Jonny Keeling. It was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, director of BBC Content and Tom McDonald.the head of commissioning for Natural History and Specialist Factual.
