Televisia orders Mexican version of ‘Family Food Fight’

Endemol Shine Boomdog has been commissioned to produce Family Food Fight for Televisia in Mexico.

Mexico will be the second country in Latin America to air the format, after an Argentine adaptation which was broadcast last year by Telefe.

Created by Endemol Shine Australia, the Family Food Fight format was developed with Channel Nine, where it was signed up for a second series last year.

The show has also sold to the US, with Endemol Shine North America’s eight-part version set to debut on ABC on June 20th. It has also been picked up in Switzerland and Denmark.

Family Food Fight sees families compete to make aspirational, home-cooked meals, in a bid to win a major prize.
